Lors d’une conférence de presse tenue à la Primature ce mardi 10 mai 2016, le Ministre de l’Intérieur et de Collectivités Territoriales a annoncé le déblocage d’une enveloppe de 52 millions de gourdes pour faire face aux dégâts causés par les pluies diluviennes qui se sont abattues sur plusieurs départements du pays, les 6, 7 et 8 mai 2016.

BOSTON – Governor Charlie Baker today announced the deployment of 500 Massachusetts National Guardsmen to assist with snow removal and cleanup efforts for areas of the Commonwealth most impacted by heavy snowfall from recent winter storms. The National Guard will mobilize their heavy equipment, including front end loaders, bobcats, and dump trucks, to communities starting this afternoon to assist with snow removal.

Issues state of emergency declaration for mutual aid process as MBTA announces suspension of services
BOSTON – This evening at the Massachusetts State House, Governor Charlie Baker declared a state of emergency, effective immediately, for the Commonwealth to pursue mutual aid initiatives with other states.  He also announced state office closures for non-emergency personnel who live or work in Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk or Suffolk counties.

BOSTON – At a State House press conference this evening, Governor Charlie Baker announced that state offices will be closed and all non-emergency state employees should stay home due to the upcoming snowstorm set to begin tonight in most parts of the Commonwealth.  This storm is forecasted to add to the cumulative snowfall amounts already posing challenges for cities and towns.  Tomorrow, all businesses are encouraged to allow employees to work from home or stay home if possible to ensure their safety and allow for efficient road cleanups and use of reduced MBTA capacity.

BOSTON – Sunday, February 8, 2015 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced today that due to the ongoing snow storm, with expected accumulations of up to 24 inches, Boston Public Schools will be closed Monday, February 9 and Tuesday, February 10. A snow emergency parking ban will go into effect in the City of Boston at 4pm today, and towing will being at 6pm.

Troisième point de presse ce midi (en moins de 12 heures) du gouverneur Charlie Baker (R) à l’occasion du passage de l’une des pires tempêtes à frapper le Nord-Est des Etats-Unis au cours de ces 10 dernières années. Accompagnée de vents violents (80-90 km à l’heure) particulièrement dans les zones côtières, cette tempête a provoqué d’importantes chutes de neige (75.18 cm à Shrewsbury).
